![]() Dr. Kobi Ledor is a board-certified radiologist. He graduated from Yale University with a BS in psychobiology and fully intended to become a neurologist or psychiatrist until medical school, when he fell under the spell of radiology, and where he distinguished himself by also falling asleep during the only lecture Dr. DeBakey, the founder and chancellor of the school, delivered to his class. He was chief resident during his radiology residency and authored a dozen peer-reviewed articles during his residency and fellowships. His invention, a pulmonary angiography catheter which he called the Lower Lobephile, was manufactured by Cook and enjoyed its 15 minutes of fame until obviated by the development of pulmonary CT angiography. He was Director of Radiology in Mt. Shasta, CA for twelve years prior to selling his practice and relocating to Berkeley. He now happily juggles teleradiology with soccermotherhood while pursuing a host of personal interests. |
